Worked on proof of concept projects for Samsung devices on Android ecosystem focused on B2B market. Used Go for writing build logic on Blueprint framework and for cross compiling programs to arm64. Last project also included REST API backend programming using Spring Boot, Spring Data MongoDB, and Lombok deployed on AWS. Unit and integration tests done on JUnit. API call authentication performed via mTLS. Postman was also used for API calls. Show less Worked on proof of concept projects for Samsung devices on Android ecosystem focused on B2B market. Helped on the development of a multithreaded camera framework for Motorola on Android devices in collaboration with teams in China and Chicago. Tasks were usually reported by QA teams and assigned to us by our direct manager from Chicago. Working environment was somewhat complex due to its multithreaded nature including Looper-Handler-based communication in both Java and C++, Java multithreading, and C++11 threading library using RAII-style locks and atomics to safely prevent data races and… Show more Helped on the development of a multithreaded camera framework for Motorola on Android devices in collaboration with teams in China and Chicago. In the Mobile Product division I worked with Samsung mobile phones making sure they were properly configured and working regarding protocol and network features required by network operators from Latin America, e.g. Cell Broadcast, MIMO, Carrier Aggregation, 256 QAM modulation and others. Tasks also included Android Application Processor and Cellular Processor log analysis on multiple layers to solve network and call issues using several free and proprietary tools. Tasks also included Android Application Processor and Cellular Processor log analysis on multiple layers to solve network and call issues using several free and proprietary tools. January - November, 2017. During my short stay in Samsung virtual assistant department my duties were to train and test a machine learning based virtual assistant, correct training data by making sure it is properly written, labeled and categorized, and delegate activities to coworkers among others. November 2017 - January 2018. Developed a real time rootkit detection Android application using one-class classification models trained in Spark. Algorithms trained include One Class Support Vector Matchine, Isolation Forest, and LSTM. February - August, 2018. Implemented an Elliptic Curve Cryptography based key exchange protocol named SPAKE2+ in Java. Developed GlobalPlatform-defined secure communication protocol SCP03 and SCP11 on Android’s framework level to establish a secure, mutually authenticated channel between two entities. Also took part in the development of a cryptographic trusted application based on ARM TrustZone technology. September, 2018 - September 2019.
