I worked very close with Matheus in a project that consists of developing and deploying an interface to capture, store, manage and present data for the organization. Matheus is a talented designer with skills that reach beyond just design as he is always looking for ways to push the boundaries of how we can make the user experience better. His visual design skills, coupled with his user experience design abilities make him a very well rounded interaction designer. I was immensely pleased with his level of talent, his diligent efforts and his willingness to commit to create designs and experiences that translate into solutions that reflect a focus on doing what is right for the business and users. Along with his creative abilities and technical skills, Matheus is always eager to learn new skills and and always available to lend a hand to co-workers when necessary.

      As a consultant I started doing what Vicente Falconi called "tidying the house", which means identifying and solving problems by standardizing operational tasks to achieve the best possible outcome. By prioritizing problems with the higher financial impact and easier to solve, I showed them the four main problems based on Paretto's principle and which resulted in approximately 80% of losses, also presenting possible solutions to these problems. Thus, I developed a process for the contracts in which included (analyses of new contracts based on similar ones; follow-up of deadlines; improvements to be made during contracts renewal).       The company was a startup at the time. They were creating their business model and constructing a physical structure. I was hired as a trainee and a couple years later, they hired me back as a consultant to review the things I implemented in the past. The goal of the clinic is to prevent diseases and maintain life quality through check-up analyses. I designed their processes flow. To do so, I worked closely with a multidisciplinary team of doctors to combine the process flow of each customer based on their needs and check-up criteria. The processes were designed in an end-to-end way integrating all administrative tasks and customers experience. Using the processes mapped, it was developed a systematic monitoring view for doctors and customers. During a full day, customers had to go through different doctors and tests. This approach made it possible to better understand when and where each costumer supposed to be, creating the best experience possible. Thus, the clinic could scale and almost double the number of customers seen daily. Also reduced significantly the probability of errors in the the process. Show less
