I worked with research on Assistive Technology with Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCI), supervised by Dr. Kim Adams. My final thesis was about hybrid BCI, with a system developed from scratch by myself. I had the opportunity to work with grant applications and undergraduate students. Our lab was part of the BCI-Canadian Network (BCI-CAN), which connected labs across Canada that work at the cutting edge of BCI for kids. I worked with several design technologies. For the most part, I did vide-editing and post-production with Adobe Premiere and After Effects, but I also worked as a cameraman, drown pilot and with special effects. For a while I also designed graphical medias for advertisement (printed and digital) with both with Adobe Photoshop e Illustrator. I worked with several design technologies. I participated as a Research Assistant on a CNPq project. This project involved Electroencephalography (EEG) data acquisition, Neural Networks, signal processing. My undergrad thesis developed based on the research results from this project. The findings were presented with a scientific article published at the 2nd International Workshop on Assistive Technology (IWAT 2019). The project was supervised by Dr. Marilda Spindola I participated as a Research Assistant on a CNPq project. This position allowed me to be in the role of Engineer Assistant at the automotive harness design and electrical assembly layout team. My duties involved testing and validating technical replacement parts. I had to do several technical reports and electric diagrams. All files and projects were managed with Team Center. I worked as a Research Assistant on a FAPERGS PROBITI project where we analyzed the state of charge of a VRLA rechargeable battery, managed its data, and did some signal processing. Here is where I learned to post-process data with MatLab. I had to do different technical reports and present them in small conferences. I also worked briefly with data acquisition via LabView and equipment maintenance. The final discoveries generated a Patent with Dr. Stanislav Tairov.
