  As I was looking for new opportunities, I came across the chance to help transition Exoticca's frontend to React. I strongly believe that if people traveled more and experienced what the world has to offer, it would be a much better place. Without much hesitation (just one weekend in London), I decided to join the company. 🙂 In short: - we build the team, transition to React, survived Covid, build the team again, never boring! 🚀 And from the top of my head: - transition whole legacy site (PHP+Smarty) to React with micro-frontends - make web SPA - move web to CDN - move web from multiple domains to single .com - implement NextJS with custom server, Varnish and CDN optimisations for statics - affiliates system - initiate addressing tech debt (replacing redux with react-query, removing MaterialUI, deprecate libraries, i18n, images, performance, …) - initiate the birth of design system - initiate the mindset of tests and cypress - new checkout flow - new flight search experience - AB testing with Lambda@edge - three full rebrandings Currently, we are revolutionizing our work methods by adopting new discovery habits while rapidly scaling up. 🌌 Show less

  I started as a full-stack developer at Social&Beyond (Barcelona) in 2015, working with PHP, PostgreSQL, and JavaScript. However, I quickly shifted my focus to frontend development and led the transition to React for the back-office tool. During my four years there, I not only contributed to the development work but also played a role in building the team and participating in various product definitions.
