Alliance General Manager - Piritahi
-
Jun 2020 - Present
Piritahi is a major construction Programme Alliance. They prepare land for development and deliver new and upgraded infrastructure and amenity on behalf of Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities. Piritahi’s responsibilities include detailed civil design and construction, the removal of old state houses no longer fit for purpose, land remediation, arranging consents related to earthworks and infrastructure, construction of roads, parks and utilities, and looking after the communities they’re working in as they go.As Piritahi’s Alliance General Manager, Mat provides visible leadership and strategic direction to the organisation. He is responsible for building and developing a high performance team and organisational culture, maintaining relationships with clients and key stakeholders, and providing effective and timely reporting of programme performance and risk management. As Alliance General Manager, Mat works closely with the Piritahi Alliance Board to develop and implement strategies that meet the Alliance’s objectives, and to establish and maintain an effective and efficient organisational structure.
