Deyan Vitanov
I worked closely with Mat at Chobolabs for about 2.5 years. He was our main concept artist and laid the foundations of our art style. Mat was responsible for most of our key art assets - including characters, environments, and splash and loading screens. He has versatile skills as an artist and is a trustworthy colleague I thoroughly enjoyed working with. The work Mat did was outstanding as anyone who has played Mayhem can attest to. I'd definitely work with Mat again and cannot recommend him strongly enough.

Mat is hands down one of the most talented and versatile artists that I have ever had the pleasure of working with. His work was integral in the visual development of our product, giving it a legitimacy that increased buy-in across the entire development team. Taking limited cues/thematic suggestions, he consistently overdelivered conceptual passes with a range of options. His style is incredibly flexible, as is his reception toward feedback and taking direction. No matter what I tasked Mat with: character design, environment concepts, mood studies, weapon/item studies, marketing compositions, he always executed his work with outstanding results. On top of it all, he brought a positive and cooperative attitude to the studio each and every day.
