  Designing novel Pseudo Direct-Drive prototype motors for proof of concept with a view to mass production. These are a revolutionary combination of electric motor and magnetic gear, creating a very torque dense motor and removing the need for a gearbox in a given application. The role consisted of taking electromagnetic design concepts from a blank canvas design right through to finished prototype items and testing them on the in-house dynamometer. Applications varied from electric bicycle motors, 24kW Unmanned Underwater Vehicle propulsion systems to 300kW generator units.
