  Responsible for the site transfer project of the injection molding/over-molding department, overseeing the new site layout, the machine transfer and validation activities. Besides guarantee the business continuity, I also managed projects for the development and transfer of finished devices produced in the Italian site and components for finished devices assembled in various Medtronic business units.Main responsibilities:• Core team representative in new product development projects, providing organization and setting priorities for utilization of resources.• Develop and implements new injection molding and micro-molding processes with innovative design in order to meet customers, manufacturing and quality requirements• Troubleshoot existing manufacturing processes, and effectively implement process improvements for the manufacturing environment.• Working closely with Research and Development, Quality, Regulatory Affairs and Purchasing departments to ensure proper implementation of new processes into production, business continuity or cost reduction activities.• Reviewing and approving engineering designs, reports, change orders, material and process specifications.• Definition of testing protocols; DoE; Process characterization, OQ and PQ protocols and reports for process validation• Identification of appropriate process equipment and implementation of statistical process control• Definition of manufacturing procedures• Management of outsourced component/prototypes/tools and relations with suppliers/partners from the definition phase up to manufacturing transfer phase

  After a period of training on Compound, Extrusion and injection molding / overmoulding processes, I owned the responsibility of building and managing production documentation (procedures, work instructions, drawings) for all departments. Afterwards specialized in the injection molding / overmoulding process taking care of the transfer of new processes into production, of guaranteeing production continuity and overseeing the selection and relationships with suppliers.
