We conducted the first successful study in Iran on the removal of Hydrogen sulfide using a biotrickling filter. During the first and second year, we designed, erected and ran some experiments to check its efficiency. During the third and fourth year (after graduation), with the help of a new master student, we made another BTF with plexiglass and we also changed the bedding to polyurethane foam. The efficiency of the removal increased significantly. We conducted the first successful study in Iran on the removal of Hydrogen sulfide using a biotrickling filter.
