Mason Miller is a strong leader with almost unlimited upside. I got to know Mason as the President of his fraternity at Iowa. (my fraternity also..althought I graduated almost 40 years before Mason arrived). He lead the fraternity through some challenging times with high intergrity and courage. He was the leader that had them focused on doing the right things, the right way, and proving themselves via actions on campus as men of character. Others in the Greek System at Iowa recognized his leadership and he was elected President of the Interfraternity Council representing the entire fraternity system. Mason has exceptional leadership skills with a solid presence and very good interpersonal skills. He is also a man of humility always pointing to others as the reason for his successes. I look forward to seeing this outstanding young man start his professional career and know that his accomplishments with be tremendous.

Mason Miller is one of the most deserving students that I have had the pleasure to work with. Mason has a heart of gold, is admired and respected among his peers, and is a student who is destined for greatness. Throughout my time as his advisor, Mason has proven he is great at cultivating relationships across many different demographics, and he has a willingness to learn and an eagerness to serve that is unmatched. Mason is also one to take any advice and utilize it to his advantage—he truly is community minded and group oriented. In my years of advising the Interfraternity Council, both at Iowa and elsewhere, I have never experienced a leader whose pure purpose is to serve and think forward in the way Mason does, and the community now and in the future is better for it. Mason is always one to speak his opinion in a respectful and dignified way, and he is someone who is steadfast in his values and beliefs. This steadfastness, however, does not prevent Mason from seeing and hearing different perspectives and using them to become a more effective leader. In times of strife, Mason has shown that not only can he hold strong in the face of adversity, but that he also can lead others through difficult situations with compassion, empathy, and maturity. He is the epitome of a good citizen, excellent scholar, and what a true leader is and should be.
