Created and edited accession records, analyzed and organized the Helen Mitchell Sanders Collection which includes legal papers assembled by the plaintiff for the U.S. Supreme Court Case, Helen Mitchell v. U.S., in which the Native American land owners sued the federal government for mismanagement of reservation lands. In the summers, pre-covid, I am a wilderness canoe guide at Keewaydin Temagami whose mission is to build outdoor and leadership skills through rigorous expeditions. Planned and executed wilderness canoe expeditions. Supervised and taught children aged 12-14 on wilderness canoe trips ranged from 5 to 21 days in duration, with progressive responsibilities. Skills acquired include decision-making in fast-paced, high consequences situations and overall leadership.
