EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH & CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT: Support ongoing programming needs of the Moyer Judicial Center's Visitor Education Center. Develop civic education materials and resources for use by school groups visiting the Supreme Court of Ohio. Create free lesson plans for fourth grade through high school Social Studies teachers aligned with specific Ohio Learning Standards. Support the production of mock trials, educational videos, and in-school presentations to enhance the civic education opportunities available to schools throughout Ohio. Schedule and conduct tours of the Thomas J. Moyer Ohio Judicial Center. HISTORICAL RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT: Enhance public understanding of the history of the Ohio Supreme Court and the historic Thomas J. Moyer Ohio Judicial Center through ongoing research. Increase the historical resources of the Court through research at the State Archives of Ohio and other relevant research institutions. Share information with school groups and the public through Court publications and building tours. VOLUNTEER MANAGEMENT: Develop and write recruiting and training materials for both print and digital formats. PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Served as the Curator of the U.S. Army’s Historical Collection in the Pentagon. Responsible for all properties issued to the Pentagon Collection; ensure proper preservation, storage, security, and transportation procedures are observed. Developed captions and scripts for exhibits, artwork, and other artifacts on display in the Pentagon. Served as liaison between the Center of Military History's Museum Program and senior leaders in the Headquarters, Department of the Army. PUBLIC OUTREACH: Supported the publication of information pertaining to the exhibits and Army artwork in the Pentagon. Provided specialized tours and orientations to both military and non-military dignitaries and groups who visit the Pentagon. Responded to general and specialized inquiries on the collection, the history of the Pentagon, and Army history. HISTORICAL SUPPORT: Provided continuous support to the Office of the Secretary of the Army and Chief of Staff of the Army by improving descriptions of historical objects in the offices. Increased accountability and management of all Army artifacts in the Pentagon, facilitated the installation of multiple displays at Quarters One (residence of the Chief of Staff of the Army), and served as general editor of the CMH publication ART OF QUARTERS ONE.
