Served as a Capital Project Coordinator for Fort Riley Utility Services, Inc. This requires continual communication between numerous parties to ensure completion of our mission: Utility Managers, Contracting Officer Representatives, Contractors, Inspectors, Operation Superintendent, Treatment Plant Superintendent, Contracts, GIS, and Accounting. Some of my tasks include: Project Management - Develop cost proposals for the government - Utilize project management software to progress project processes as necessary - Ensure complete compliance with governmental, safety, environmental, and internal regulations - Pre-construction site visits to observe potential complications - Track projects to ensure adherence to project schedules - Lead the composition of our subsidiary's first two Five Year Plans that detail the current state of assets as well as future projects Engineering - Calculate pump efficiency - Take off verifications - Site plan reviews - Asset inventory tracking and compilation - Perform lift station drawdowns to calculate capacity and volumetric flow rates Construction - Inspecting new construction for adherence to regulations and standards - Survey completed construction projects for integration into the GIS Show less
