      As a Civic Innovation Intern, I assisted in two main projects: Retos Cívicos, an open innovation project focused on contributing to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals in partnership with a national/local NGOs with funding from Microsoft. My roles were creating a strategy to contact and encourage NGOs to participate in the program, and give workshops to detect social problems. The second project, named DesafioSP (desafios.sanpedro.gob.mx) is a pilot program por open public innovation in Latin America. This program is implemented in the municipality of San Pedro Garza García, in collaboration with the San Pedro's public servants, and NYU's The GovLab. In DesafioSP, my main function was assisting in the implementation of the program, working in partnership with San Pedro's Public officials, and doing research about Open Innovation.
