I practiced law for 40 years as a pension lawyer at Dentons, where I helped large and small employers in their dealings with various players in the pension arena: pension regulators, unions, plan members, consulting firms, trustees, actuaries and auditors. I was fortunate to be able to advise many companies on good pension governance processes, and enjoyed collaborating with consultants, actuaries and other stakeholders in the Canadian pension world.
