The “Cancer Option Collaborative” (aka The Collaborative) is an international initiative to index the world of cancer to identify what organizations and groups offer “direct service options” to active treatment cancer patients. While indexing, all options will be cataloged by country, state and city, and then categorized by specialization. Specialization categories are “emotional support”, “nutritional wellness”, “physical fitness”, “in-home services”, “financial relief services” and… Show more The “Cancer Option Collaborative” (aka The Collaborative) is an international initiative to index the world of cancer to identify what organizations and groups offer “direct service options” to active treatment cancer patients. While indexing, all options will be cataloged by country, state and city, and then categorized by specialization. Specialization categories are “emotional support”, “nutritional wellness”, “physical fitness”, “in-home services”, “financial relief services” and “miscellaneous”. When applicants contact us we will identify what services are available in their location and assist them with obtaining them. Once services are obtained should a need still exist then assistance will be offered via the Dollars Allocated to Assist (DATA) program. Should no services be available in their area the DATA program will work to provide the assistance needed. At no time will “The Collaborative” provide direct assistance without verifying which services available in an applicant’s area first. The Dollars Allocated to Assist (DATA) program will continue to process all financial assistance requests and be funded through our "Hands of Hope", "Hairstyles for Hope", "Dancing for Hope" and several other fundraising partnerships and campaigns.
