I got involved in the Youth Partnership in 2016, when I conducted and published an original research on the educational integration of refugees in Greece and their contribution to the ongoing process of the recognition and validation of youth work in the country. In 2020, following a competitive, yet transparent process, I joined the Partnership's Pool of European Youth Researchers (PEYR). In 2021-2022, I co-authored the study on YouthWork in SouthEast Europe. At the moment, I am conducting a study on Refugees' Autonomy, investigating case studies of refugees from Ukraine, Northern Iraq & Syria, where I examine hybrid identities, financial autonomy, social integration and gender. I use mainly qualitative tools such as ethnographic research, observation, personal interviews, but I also count on nethnography, as some of my interviewees are currenly in situations of ongoing conflict.
