I first met Mary at ILA Vietnam. It was my great pleasure to be assigned to be her mentor. My first impression was that she was highly intelligent, quick whitted and had a strong will to better herself professionally. I found this to be very true as we spent time together getting her acquainted to the ILA system and Vung Tau. Mary is an enthusiastic, creative and inspiring educator. She never stops learning and turning out ideas. Her classes are student led rather than teacher led. Children and colleges respect her tremendously. Her teaching method is relaxed, fun, encouraging and creates self learners. Most importantly she inspires children to want to learn. It is very rare to find an educator who can create this spark in their students. Mary is definitely on my list of "must hire'

Mary Moss is what I consider to be a top-shelf professional, both as a seasoned sales professional and as a client-focused relationship manager. Mary always had her eyes on the prize and was able to see the forest through the trees. Her ability to develop, implement and execute a thoughtful and strategic sales plan was second to none. Her sales process and tactics were always well-planned, organzed and precise. Mentoring and working with Mary was as much fun as closing a new deal. I would gladly do so again!

Taught second grade at a private international school in Mandalay, Myanmar. Developed lesson plans and delivered lessons for academic subjects of language arts, math, social studies and science (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt series). Our school is in the process of obtaining WASC certification. I actively served on two committees but took a leadership role in designing unit plans for second grade language arts utilizing the UbD approach. Developed and ran an after school program designed to foster a child’s love of reading. Collaborated with peer teacher and produced 3 “never been done before” events at our school. The first, a science and social studies conference, featured 43 second-graders presenting a student led event. Students and parents were pleased and asked for a second project. For our second project, we studied endangered animals and the causes of extinction. Children selected their animal, researched interesting animal facts, and wrote haiku poetry. They then designed a puppet with the help of a parent at our parent/child workshop. Children then divided into small teams and wrote puppet plays. Our second project culminated in the presentation of endangered animal puppet plays to a conference room full of enthusiastic parents. Established positive relationships with parents and succeeded in achieving productive parent-teacher conferences and nearly 100% participation in our projects and parent/child workshop. Show less
