February 2, 2022 To whom it may concern, Through this letter, I would like to recommend Marybeth Goundry. Ms. Goundry was the co-team leader for the NASA MITTIC project, a team member on my NASA minds team, and a fellow intern at Windhover Labs. Throughout each project and internship, Marybeth demonstrated her willingness to learn and ability to solve problems. Marybeth invited me to join her NASA MITTIC team in 2019. At the time the project had begun to fall behind and members were leaving. Marybeth took control of the situation and created a schedule for the project and got it back on track. Throughout the project, she was readily available to help in any way that she could to ensure the project's success. She is incredibly dedicated and goal-oriented when it comes to her work. If we needed direction, she was the person we asked. During the NASA minds project, Marybeth was instrumental in providing research for the project making the video. Throughout the project, she continually researched for more viable solutions in creating swarm drone technology. She created our video for our project using blender demonstrating her ability to learn new skills as needs for the project evolve. Marybeth excels in learning new skills in a short amount of time. At Windhover labs, Marybeth was the fastest programmer that we had. She was able to finish tasks in a fraction of the time it would take the rest of us. In a week she was able to learn ruby, HTML, and CMSS to create a basic website that we used as a prototype. When we needed help with coding, Marybeth was the first person that we came to for help. The notes that she took became the standard for how we would document any work that we did. Marybeth is a meticulous researcher, documentation creator, and teammate. Her ability to identify a problem, brainstorm a solution, and implement a design is unrivaled. She unifies teams and makes an excellent team leader. Any task that you give her she will dig deep into and give you far above adequate reasons for why she got the results that she did. I can confidently say that Marybeth is up to any task that you give her and I would highly recommend her for employment in any software or electrical engineer position. Sincerely, Ryan Francisco Software engineer at Aegis Aerospace

We meet many people every day, but only some leave a mark, and one of them is Marybeth. Mrs. Goundry was the Team Lead for our Graduation project at the University of Houston - Clear Lake from January 2021 through December 2021. Throughout the course of the project, Marybeth's multitasking skills were unlike any I’ve seen before and substantially increased in the productivity of the project. While working with Marybeth, I was always fascinated by her ability to handle any situation while being calm and collected. Marybeth had many qualities that were exceptionally useful for our project and our team, some of them being her management skills, extensive programming knowledge, and leadership skills. She demonstrated her management skills most strongly during our meeting arrangements, especially during the asynchronous portion of our project brought on by the pandemic. Marybeth was always on top of things, once we were able to meet in person to connect our components, she showcased her ability to lead by helping assist each team member through both technical and interpersonal obstacles. She was always punctual, as well as always made sure the group was both on task and could complete the project milestones in a timely manner. It was a pleasure to have Marybeth as the team lead throughout the project, as she wasn't just a great team leader, she was also a great student and friend. From my experience working with Marybeth, I believe that with her interpersonal skills and enthusiasm, any organization would be lucky to have her.
