      Maryam started working for an internationally recognized IB school in Pakistan, Lahore Grammar School International (LGSi) in February 2014. For the first year, Maryam performed the duties of a homeroom teacher for PYP Year 1. Owing to the commitment to her career and professional competencies, Maryam was promoted to a homeroom teacher for PYP YEAR 2 within the first year of joining LGSi. Maryam’s time at LGSi helped her further learn and develop as an IB professional when the school went through the official IB verification and authorization. Some of the skills Maryam developed during her time at LGSi are listed below: -Plan, evaluate, and report on social/emotional development, units of inquiry, language, mathematics for children in Maryam’s care using the PYP philosophy and framework. -Collaborate closely with Single Subject and Learning Support teachers for better development of children. -Differentiate amongst a wide-range of learning abilities for children. -Initiate a flexible learning environment based on current research. Collaborate with the PYP team on Literacy Curriculum, Math Curriculum and Program of Inquiry. Maryam single handedly prepared and plotted Year 2 curriculum into a yearly overview, 6 week unit overview and daily planner.

      Maryam started her teaching career in February 2012 where she joined a de knower school of Pakistan, Lahore Learning Alliance started my teaching career as a kindergarten teacher and continued to work for the same institute for a period of two years. Maryam performed a wide variety of duties. Maryam was responsible for a child's first education experience. Maryam’s Time was dedicated on focusing on introducing basic subjects and concepts, such as colors, shapes and basic math to pre school kids.
