I worked at KFUM a Civics and Social Organization as a summer job. I got introduced to collaborative working techniques along with my colleagues, got taught to understand the importance of a serious yet welcoming and determined attitude in a workplace where children and young people may be present. Serious issues such as criminal gangs were discussed and I got taught how to deal with such incidents in my workplace. Additionally, an easy course of how to survive in the wild and to be aware of the goals of sustainable development, Agenda 2030. A lot of responsibility along with a lot of fun, to get to know new people and be engaged in the future of today’s children and youth. Show less

Horse Caretaker
-
Aug 2018 - Dec 2020
At least twice a week I would take care of a specific horse, a horse given to me to take care of, it was as if I had a horse of my own. My responsibilities included showering, brushing, examining for any injuries/diseases/fever etc, and soon enough I was taught to shave. Additionally, I participated in daily stable duties; sweeping, mucking, feeding the horses, bringing them in and out the stable to the meadow. At my free time I would sign up for birthday parties and children's riding lessons to help lead their horses and ensure their personal safety. I did completed my work experience programme for school at the stables twice, working full two weeks from 8.00-17.30. Show less
