My first experience in college was as a student on a regional campus and I know how important it is that a student's college experience is consistent no matter which campus they attend.   As the Enrollment & Outreach Coordinator at the Delaware Area Career Center, I’ve played an integral role in driving and developing recruitment and retention efforts for DACC’s high school programs among all school districts in the Delaware County area. I work closely with over 30 high school CTE programs and their talented instructors to build strong recruitment practices and create supportive environments for students to explore their options and find their fit. -A key part of my role involves developing and presenting engaging stories and presentations to communicate the benefit of Career Technical Education. -Through effective project management and event coordination (including on-campus students experiences and community open houses), I create engaging opportunities for students to explore their options. -I work intentionally to train a team of student ambassadors. I provide them with tools and resources needed to effectively communicate DACC’s mission and engage prospective students and stakeholders. -Working closely with DACC’s Communication team, I create visual assets and manage newsletter communication and website updates to support recruitment efforts and ensure consistent messaging across all platforms. -I am dedicated to promoting a positive image of the DACC and ensuring all students have access to the information they need to make an informed decision for their future with confidence and clarity.
