    • Placement for Exercise Science
      • Jan 2020 - Jan 2020

I completed placement at a community centre called Wan Smolbag in Vanuatu for Exercise Science. I was involved in many different areas of exercise science and had to learn how to adapt to the resources avalaible. Some of the work included working 1:1 with clients, with a group of people, fitness testing for teams and going on outreach. I helped to deliver an ASCA level 1 strength and conditioning coaching course which involved helping people to coach as well as perform the selected exrcises. Also while I was there I completed some with with the Vanuatu Association of Sports and National Olympic Committee (VASNOC). There I worked with athletes and para-athletes doing fitness testing and training sessions.
