During my time at Raritan, I supported students academically, emotionally, and socially in a non-judgmental, safe and inclusive environment. While meeting with students for individual or in group sessions, I highlighted their individual accomplishments, improvements in behavior and recognized strengths. I also collaborated with I&RS team members to develop and implement interventions for students in need. Notably, I had the advantage of holding the same internship position for a full year, allowing me to see the holistic role of a school counselor. With this full year experience, I had the ability to fully support junior and senior students during their college application process, as well as support the sophomores during the vocational school application process. I also had the opportunity to assist in administrating accuplacers, the ASVAB, AP exams, an SAT exam and also state testing.

While working for Montclair State University's Newark Identity Research Project, I had the responsibility of analyzing qualitative data, coding interviews for inter-rater reliability purposes, consolidating interviews into memorandums, maintaining confidentiality of study’s participants and transcribing audio recordings into written interviews.
