I hold a research fellowship as PI on 'Networks of Reception in Eighteenth-Century Newspapers and Magazines: Laurence Sterne'. This two-year project involves investigating the circulation of authorial celebrity and literary adaptation in eighteenth-century newspapers and magazines in Britain, and in Western and Eastern Europe, working in collaboration with Prof. Jakub Lipski. The project is supported by a Polonez Bis award, co-funded by the European Commission and the Polish National Science Centre under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie COFUND grant. Project outputs include a website, conference activities, and OA publications, among them a short monograph contracted for the Cambridge University Press 'Elements' series.
