During my time as assistant coordinator for the Holland campsite I worked hand in hand with the coordinator to ensure the campers had a safe and fun summer. We also worked with the campers parents to make sure we were keeping up with and meeting their expectations for the summer. During my role I also oversaw around 20 counselors and 100 campers. Although I have been a camp counselor for the past 3 summers, this past summer I got promoted to the Supervisor. This job promotion means that I was given more responsibility around the camp. I worked hand in hand with the camp coordinator making sure everything ran smoothly and we were meeting the parents expectations for the summer. I also was in charge of our after care program which included having activities planned for 50-70 campers depending on the week. Since this is a summer camp job I only work during the summer. During this program I worked in Merchandise at Disney Traders and Port of Entry in Epcot. My roles as a merchandise cast member included keeping the store fully stocked and looking nice and presentable. I worked with the guests to make sure their experience was exceptional. Along with these roles I rang the guests up for their purchases and sometimes even shipped them home. Another major role in this location was running the baby care center. In the baby care center we made sure it was kept clean and neat. We also had toiletries for babies and adults for sale Show less

      • Aug 2016 - Jan 2017

I worked for the Quick Service Food and Beverage part of Disney. I worked at the Electric Umbrella in Epcot. At this location I got a lot of different experience. For the first month and a half I worked in the front of house which included busing tables, greeting guests as they walked in the restaurant, working and running the cash register, walking around making sure everyone was okay and their food was right, and working behind the counter getting the meals together. For the second half of the program I was trained in the kitchen. I learned to work as a team efficiently in a fast past environment to ensure quality customer service. Show less

At the pharmacy I would assist the pharmacist in filling the prescriptions, pulling the medication off the shelf. On top of with working alongside the pharmacist I ran the cash register and interacted with the customers. Also I worked in the front of the store selling gifts, cards, candy etc. Since I am currently away at college I cannot not work here but when I come home for breaks my boss still lets me pick up shifts.
