I had the absolute pleasure of working with and interviewing Mary during my Who Are You Answering To summit series. Mary's topic was extremely timely and her delivery was heartfelt and articulate. Mary is extremely passionate about correcting the gender position parity gap. In addition she has a heart for helping women shift their mindset, realize their value and capabilities, and apply for jobs that match their skill-level (or even stretch them, knowing they will rise to the task and exceed expectations as thought and team leaders!) Mary was a true joy to work with and went above and beyond when promoting the summit. She would be an incredible asset to any event as a key-note speaker or contributor.

      I started working with Ecosure as a contractor and quickly became certified to complete inspections according to customer requirements for over 30 brands. EcoSure is a 3rd party inspection company and the evaluations included things like food safety, customer service, cleanliness, building condition, team member performance, brand-specific requirements, and compliance checks. After the inspections, I would prepare reports and review the findings with the management team. Praising the positive and addressing high-level concerns. In addition to the inspections, I was certified to teach ServeSafe Food and Alcohol courses and would teach classes regularly. My favorite part about working for EcoSure was the ability to work alongside managers and team members that wanted to improve their brand's standards. EcoSure when through a staffing transition in which Specialists moved from contractors to full-time employees.       It was an honor to be part of the opening management team. My role was in the kitchen working alongside the Executive Chef Tony Lucas to run a professional and exceptionally run kitchen. Managing a team of 65 and two full running lines to serve the 1200 people that could be seated in our establishment. It was incredible to help build and run the systems that kept the kitchen running on time and crystal clean. Knowing the high standards of GM Tom Williams this place will be around forever. If you're in Pittsburgh its a must-stop location for the best German fair and brew. Show less

      I started my journey with TGI Friday's in 2004 as a supervisor at Cedar Point. It was a wild summer and I learned a lot about guest service, making schedules, bartending, and managing teams. I went back to school and was part of the opening team as a cook at the State College, Pa location. Quickly I learned every station and upon graduation, I accepted a job with Fridays in Pittsburgh. In about a year I was promoted to kitchen manager and given a location to run. I worked at TGIF until going on to Hofbrauhas, my manager Tom Williams used to work for Friday's and ask me to join his team. After leaving Hofbrauhas and moving to San Antonio to be with my sister while her husband was at war I worked for TGI Fridays as a manager and then kitchen manager before leaving to inspect hotels and restaurants across the state. TGI Fridays will always have a place in my heart. <3 Show less
