      Since I joined the college in 2007 I have had direct responsibility for HR & Payroll, PR, Marketing, Facilities, Estates, Health & Safety and Diversity & Equality. From 2015, my portfolio expanded and I took on responsibility for all aspects of the corporate services including Finance, IT, and student funding and data. I am a Senior Postholder accountable to the Corporation and Education Skills Funding Agency (Department of Education) and one of three members of the Executive Team which includes a Deputy Principal for curriculum and the Principal. Although my professional training is in HR, I am skilled and experienced in all corporate services and recognise the interdependencies between them. I am responsible for the College’s annual budget, long term financial plans, revenue expenditure and capital allocations. I regularly meet with our bank to ensure loan covenants are met. I have developed a strong understanding of the curriculum and as a senior postholder I am able to intercept and advise on complex student matters or to carry out case reviews into them as required.
