I am currently with Neighborhood Service Organization. Responsibilities include assessments, diagnosis, outreach therapy with individuals and families, inpatient hospitalizations and case management tasks including assessments and recommendation for insurance companies, MI-Health, Medicare and Medicaid. In my 80+ caseload, I must meet deadlines in a timely manner, including chart notes, Carelink and ConsumerLink applications, as well as the many assessments done on each consumer. I am required to meet 40 hours of training per year in mental health and developmentally disabled education. I work with the dually diagnosed elderly and the disabled. My clients include people with many and varied physical and mental disabilities and I pride myself in respecting and working to empower each of them.
