I started off as a Bid Coordinator but was promoted to Proposal Manager in February 2021. In my current role my tasks are as followed;• Create, monitor and proactively manage progress on all Request for Proposals (RFP).• Manage and liaison with Project Managers, progress on quotations for contract amendments.• Track and report on status of all RFP pricing for contract amendments.• Manage and provide support to the Bid Administrators with contract amendments and ensure they have the relevant skills/ training.• Review of RFPs and Proposals for accuracy and completeness in line with expert comments.• Support to finance with budget forecast.• Develop and maintain quality metrics for routine reporting.• Support process improvement initiatives.• Own the Configure One proposals application and manage requirements for its maintenance and improvement.• Provide support to Pricing Meetings including agenda and actions logs.• Chair CT Sales meetings for sales updates and progress on RFP. For 2 years my main role as Contract Administrator was to maintain current service contracts for Ricoh within the Contract Billing team. Daily duties included: • Advising customers on correct procedures. • Solving and assisting with problematic queries. • Working through system generated spreadsheets to correct billing within a tight deadline. • Issuing credit and rebill invoices. • Contract settlement, terminations and machine collections. • Loading, correcting and amending customer contracts whilst adhering to contract policies and internal practice. I was promoted to the position of Billing Analyst to enhance my skills in correcting contracts and billing holds on Oracle. Whilst on this team daily tasks include: • Data & Trend analysis skills processing large amounts of data. • Implementing a Quality Assurance project reviewing customer discrepancies to ensure correct billing. • Clearing backlogs of unbilled lines that had been placed on hold, freeing up revenue to be claimed. • Organising my own system of maintaining information on Excel to keep track of ongoing problems or work in progress. • Running daily statistics reports to review contract status and resolve issues for any of our Ricoh UK customers. • Consistently hitting revenue and personal targets.
