Mary is not one to sing her own praises so I'll do it for her. She has a considered and respectful approach to relationship management to create true partnerships of value. There is a great deal of pride in her work and her ability to pull (the right) people together seamlessly is something few can manage with such style. She is a pleasure to work with.

I have known and worked with Mary in her role as Partnership Manager, Industry Engagement at RMIT for over eight years. Over this time, and in all my work with Mary, I have found her to be extremely knowledgeable regarding the industry sectors that she works on including: aerospace and aviation, and health and community services. Mary has excellent and proven skills in building valuable, successful and robust partner relationships with key blue chip companies and organisations in industry sectors she works on at RMIT. Working hard in her role - often putting in the extra work and time needed and valued by industry, Mary attends key events and meetings before and after work hours to foster her industry contacts and build rewarding and productive relationships. She also has excellent connections and networks around RMIT University - at all levels and in all areas, which allows her to leverage information, contacts, work-integrated learning, training, academics, research and more as needed. In my role as Senior Media and Communications Advisor at RMIT, I worked with Mary and the Industry Engagement team on a variety of media, communications and marketing projects and collateral. This included high-level industry capability statements, news stories and media releases, strategic business and communications plans, editing an industry newsletter, supplying high-level speeches for the Vice-Chancellor and other RMIT executives for industry events, functions and seminars. In all this work for and with Mary, I found her to be very helpful, knowledgeable, transparent, shrewd, thoughtful and collaborative, which resulted in high quality outcomes for all the projects and collateral we worked on and produced together. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mary for any work in industry engagement and business partnerships. She is also extremely reliable and a good person to have in any team.
