My highest qualification is a Ph.D. in Medical Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Cairo University in 2015. I am experienced in illustrating different medical biochemistry and molecular biology subjects to undergraduate and postgraduate medicine, dental medicine, and nursing students. I am experienced in supervising postgraduate candidates (Master's and Ph. D students). I am a member of the quality committee in my faculty to ensure that quality standards are applied in different stages of the education process. I shared with my colleagues putting a questions bank for biochemistry for the application of automatic MCQ exams in my university. As regards my research I have already published 16 papers till now in reputable journals indexed in WOS and Scopus with high impact factors and specified in biochemistry and Molecular Biology. and I was the main investigator and the corresponding author for nearly all of them. The principle aim of my research is to measure the expression of different genes in body fluids and /or cells and relate them by statistical analysis to the incidence of the disease and its clinical data and severity scores to evaluate whether these genes could serve as diagnostic, prognostic biomarkers and targets of therapy or not. Also, we detect the polymorphism in these genes and whether these polymorphisms are related to gene expression or not. Biochemical research deal with genes and their relation to diseases so it supports almost all branches of medicinelike internal medicine, dermatology, oncology, and surgery. Techniques used in my research were RNA extraction, DNA extraction, and performing reverse transcription- PCR and Real-Time- PCR, Eliza, and Agarose gel electrophoresis. Also, to write a scientific paper, analyzed, interpreted, and explain the results, submitted the paper to international journals, responded to reviewers' comments, and finalized the proof of the paper.
