I had the pleasure of working with Marvin 'Jim' Cooper while employed as the Northeast Regional Director for Lowes Companies, Inc. I hired Jim into Loss Prevention after meeting him during a store visit where he had been employed in management. Jim was a quick study. He showed great enthusiasm in learning not only the fundamentals of retail loss prevention at the time, but also the advanced operational / financial elements; quickly surpassing his peers. Jim performed exceptionally well as Loss Prevention Manager, and was consequently promoted to the next level as a result of his efforts. I would recommend Jim to any company looking for a highly engaged, capable, well rounded LP professional.
