Serves as primary point of contact with students, staff, and instructor with regards to textbook needs and help them secure their books and make certain to give the right materials pertaining to their schedules/requisition forms. Prepares all the inventory items prior to opening of CNAQ bookstore. Runs General Ledger Export, prepares documents pertaining to the Inventory Reconciliation of two systems (People Soft & MMS) each day. Reconciles inventory items received in people soft, sold in mms & requisitioned by the staff every day to ensure the accuracy count of the inventory stock. Controls physical inventory in different locations by securing a list of the items received in PS and interfaced in MMS so to keep track on the items. Receives books, stationery items, lab coats, lab goggles and PPE. Validates P.O. against the physical items received prior to receiving into People Soft to ensure the accuracy of the inventory item before the interfacing into Master Merchant System. Runs a report of the items received from PS into MMS and adjust necessary details pertaining to each item. Keeps an excel file of the items received for future reference. Labels all items received without barcode for smooth transaction with the customers. Replenishes the displays to ensure stocks are enough for the customers. Stacks books on display shelves and sorts them by department for better and easy access for the students, staff & instructors. Follows up (P.O) purchase orders’ status with the procurement department when ETA fails! Reconciles cash as well as the debit and credit sales on MM Systems’ report at the end of each business day. Runs all the necessary reports to be used in Reconciling the Inventory on the next day.
