I have been a SolidWorks designer for over 16 years and have enjoyed designing a number of different products, molds, machines, automation equipment, and more.Prior to accepting my current position at 4moms in Pittsburgh PA I was an independent design consultant exclusively for my previous employer in San Diego CA. I continued to do all the mechanical design work for them to produce parts, molds, equipment, and product development. I was involved with that group of guys for over 16 years, it was a lot of fun and I learned a bunch working with them all.

What can I say about my time here? It was great, almost 12 years developing our our product and manufacturing them as well. I started working with SolidWorks here when it first came out in 1998 and have loved it ever since. I did product design, molds, assembly equipment, testing equipment, automated manufacturing cell design, 6 axis robot programming, PLC programming, and lots more. I even got my hands into doing the marketing design for our products using Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver to create magazine ads, brochures, trade show materials, and web pages. It was a ton of fun and learned lots, great job. So why leave sunny CA, my ailing mother needed someone close to help care for her and my step father and the job situation was at a placed to make it all possible, so we packed up and moved to East.
