For four years (2012-2016) I served as the Program Director of a 21st Century Community Learning Centers After School program, and was privileged to have Ms. McDonald-Dandy as the program’s Lead Teacher. She brought years of teaching and program experience, and was a critical part of the program’s success. She was the quintessential professional, and I could always count on her to bring her best to the students and the program. Ms. McDonald-Dandy was an asset to the organization we both served, and I have no doubt that she will continue to be the same in any organization with which she is affiliated. Yvonne P. Morris

I have had the pleasure of working with Marvia for about 7 years at Florida International Academy and in that time she has shown herself to be a true professional in her field. Marvia was the lead teacher and in her leadership role she demonstrated that she was driven to help other teachers be successful and at the same time embraced any opportunity for professional development. Marvia is an experienced Language Arts and Social science teacher who has been rated highly effective in her assessment.
