The University Fund Wageningen stimulates the development of academic talent, rewards excellence and makes impactful research possible. In the new campaign 'Fundamental Change', 15 research projects with great potential impact on the quality of life, are being show cased. Once a project has started, I make sure the process is in place and all parties are committed to this process with the aim to bring the research project to a success and improve quality of life. The Sustainable Trade Initiative (IDH) aims to realize green & inclusive growth at scale in commodity sectors and sourcing areas. IDH works together with companies, governments, and public-private partnerships to design, fund and prototype economical viable approaches. Responsible for: • Excellent working conditions, building safety and IT equipment • Liaison with suppliers, contract management and trouble shooting • Providing support to colleagues world wide • Office related policies and guidelines • Execution of the move to a new office • Logistics of the 10 years anniversary team of IDH I was most proud to participate in the 10 years event hosting 700 people, among them high level government officials, directors of multinationals and influential leaders from public organizations around the world, discussing green and inclusive trade. Personal highlights were finding and negotiating the perfect locations, mastering thousands of invitations and coordinating all kind of practical support on site. Show less

NCDO was an independent administrative body within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the aim to create support for international cooperation with developing countries. Responsible for • the Building Bridges program, designed for subsidy applications by student and migrant organizations. • Support and guide the applicants with their proposal and the whole administrative process • Validate their project proposals and write advises to the committee • Monitor the progress of the granted projects • Evaluate granted projects on content and finance • Contribute to the improvement of organizational policies, rules and regulations • Contribute to branding the work of NCDO and Building Bridges, organizing events What I loved about this job was to actually be able to use my insights in administrative processes, my eye for detail and intercultural communication skills.
