While in this role my leadership and analytical approach led to efficiencies both in the field and the office.

This gave me the best foundation to progress and pay my way through education, gaining a qualification that would help my professional career. Site Engineer - Working for AMEC as the Site Engineer on the £90 million PFI Carlisle Cumberland Hospital project, working alongside the management team and the client for the three-year duration of this project. Completed setting out, quality checks and surveying for buildings, footings, roads, utilities, and sewers for the length of the project. Checked plans, as-built drawings, and quantities for accuracy. Ensured that all materials used, and work performed adhered to all applicable specifications. Provided technical advice and problem solving solutions, liaised with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and other project workforce to ensure timely completion of the project. Supervised site workforce and subcontractors. Managed punch lists and workforce to complete work required.
