Dealing with personnel whom have Multi-faceted Personal Issues (MPI's) has certainly been a challenge, in assisting them to overcome the problems that become too much for their normal place of work to manage. With the assistance of rehab officers, psych and counselling services, medical agencies, chaplaincy etc, we help employees overcome their issues, to return them to full operational capacity, or to transition from the Service. There is great satisfaction is assisting member's to return to full time duty, which contributes to Navy and Defence capability. It's also satisfying to transition member's to civilian life when they cannot overcome their difficulties, ensuring appropriate support outside the Service.
