  I started working for THD as a Service Desk Associate, and within the first month was promoted to Service Desk Lead. My managers and supervisor were impressed with my customer service, attention to detail and work ethic and thought it would be a great fit for me. Which then I was promoted once more to be a Flooring Associate. This was because this area is specialty, and they were prepping me to become supervisor/assistant manager, but that first requires having worked in the different roles at THD to have a base knowledge in order to help the fellow associates.   I was working as a cashier at the cruise ship port in Honduras. Started in September and quickly became the fastest and most accurate cashier. Because of this, I was usually assigned to the busiest registers. Cruise ports have lots of people getting off and our store was at the forefront. Passengers had to walk through our store to get on with their visit. It was quite an experience getting to meet and greet people from all over the world. My managers and supervisors learned to trust me very quickly. This job ended due to Covid unfortunately. Show less
