      • Organization of disassembling and newly reassembling of the two lifting cranes (30 and 250 tons) of second nuclear reactor of Armenian Nuclear Power Plant (ANPP). Preparation of all necessary documents for the works in a highly guarded asset as well as the staff instruction. • Carry out technical supervision over the implementation of construction and installation works, which was a kind of administrative activity regulating and supervising product quality by technical testing and metric testing according to standards, laws and regulations. • Checking the BOQ (bill of quantities) volumes of the projects, which were used in tendering in the construction industry in which materials, parts and labor (and their costs) were itemized. Preparing of the BOQ for the new projects, meaning that the design is complete and specifications has been prepared. • Realization of commissioning works which includes activities such as cleaning, flushing, verifications, leak tests, performance evaluation and functional tests essential for bringing a newly installed plants or facilities into routine operation. • Estimation of project documents, working drawings and construction standards in the following ways: breaking down the project into activities and then further into smaller tasks, then estimate each task. Comparing with the existing and constructed similar projects that has been done in the past. Taking the past project experiences and adjusting them for differences in the new project. • Calculation of the steel structures, components connecting with each other to carry loads and provide full rigidity. Designing the steel structures detailed drafts using AutoCAD software for the production process. • Experience of managing the several groups consisting of 7-10 people. Each group was working on different projects accomplishing the construction works, installation processes and site activities. Show less

      • Collaboration with Spanish construction company Acciona Energy regarding the newly designed wind farm in Armenia. The main task was the geological survey of the construction area in order to obtain the necessary information for the further design of the wind turbines’ towers. Site survey and project management with Spanish engineers and geologists during they visits in Armenia. • Realization of the additional water supply system for Armenian Nuclear Power Plant (ANPP), which was a project of drilling of 6 deep holes with 130 depths and laying 2 km pipeline partially inside of the strictly guarded area of ANPP. • Doing design changes as regular additions, omissions and adjustments to both design and construction work in a construction project that occurs after the award of contract. Elimination of the impacts that the design changes have on the contract provisions and work conditions. • Preparation of the construction documents such as the drawings, specifications, contracting requirements, procurement requirements, modifications and addenda. • Construction inspection/supervision: it was the process of ensuring targets (cost, time and quality) which has been set at the planning stage. Inspection was one of the means of ensuring compliance of design and specifications. The primary objective of inspection was to ensure safety of lives, durability of structure, assessment of hazards, determination of risks, and maintaining a safety program. • Meeting with contractors, site managers and supervisors, outlining the main points regarding the safety issues, time schedule, quality of works, inspections and documentations of construction projects. • Team management of guiding and coordinating group of 15 people on construction site in order to perform the tasks involving teamwork, communication, objective setting and performance appraisals to accomplish a specific goal. • Water Engineer
      • Sep 2015 - Aug 2017

      • Detailed design engineering (designing of actual parts) of the structures such as water supply, wastewater treatment and rainwater drainage systems. In this phase of project implementation were applied all technical disciplines needed (i.e. mechanical, civil, electrical, piping, automation, telecommunications, instrumentation, etc.) to establish the set of deliverables. • Testing the designed models with software application like EPANET, which is used throughout the world to model water distribution systems. The results helped in understanding the movement and fate of drinking water constituents within distribution systems, and was used for many different types of applications in distribution systems analysis. • Making the site surveys, which were the inspections of an area where work was proposed. The purpose was to gather information for a design or an estimate to complete the initial tasks required for an outdoor activity. It determined a precise location, access, best orientation for the site and the location of obstacles. • Ensuring construction project supervision that the project is built in accordance with the requirements of the contract documents, approved plans, specifications, building standards and observe that the progress of the construction process is fully met with quality assurance. • Hydrometeorological forecasting involving the predictions and attempts to mitigate the effects of high precipitation events and informing the public of the developing hazard using the nowcasting, numerical weather prediction and statistic techniques. • Field visits with taking samples for the analysis of environmental impacts from industrial contaminations of rivers and lakes in Armenia. The samples were transported to the laboratory and were exposed to testing in accordance to the local standards to reveal the amount of pollution. • Calculation of mean monthly and mean annual air temperature over the different regions of Armenia to comprehend the trend of temperature rise. Making the temperature graphs and maps using the GIS software. Monitoring of air quality over the territory of Armenia in order to determine the concentration of air pollutants due to fuel combustions, industrial emissions, open waste burning, spread of natural sources, including volcanic eruptions, mountain dust.
