Martin is flexible and reliable. Some of the sites we work on have very exacting rules and Martin accomodates all without complaint. He is my first call whenever I need a survey.

Colin Hiscock

I would recommend Martin for any complex surveying / setting out role. Extremely capable and very good to work with.

I have gained lots of experience, not just dealing with client’s needs, but the day to day running of a surveying office. I work with clients who are involved in building & civil engineering, project management, geotechnical, remediation, development and architecture. With such a variety of clients I can experience many different situations which I feel is contributing to my knowledge of surveying & engineering and of construction & the built environment as a whole. Jobs and tasks include: Topographical surveys- small residential plots to detailed surveys of construction sites using remote total stations and GPS. Setting out- All aspects in the role of site engineer, earthworks profiles, borehole and trial pit positions, building footings and brickwork lines. Volumetric calculations- stockpiles of crushed concrete and other materials, cut & fill, voids and excavation areas etc. Measured building surveys- Measured floor plans of church halls, office blocks, private housing. Elevations including floor levels, eaves and ridge heights. CAD- All survey drawings and visualisations using various programs.
