Martin is someone who supports diversity and inclusion by giving people with fewer connections a chance to speak to his network. I got know Martin in 2019 when he invited me on to his Dog 'n' Bone podcast to talk about diversity and inclusion with @AllyOwen the amazing founder of Brixton Finishing School and I know Martin's company Propeller Group is a big supporter of BFS. It was fantastic to be invited back to run my own Dog 'n' Bone podcast on the subject a few months ago. Plus I featured in Propeller's "influencer's influencer" video series https://youtu.be/34S0miot4JQ. It's good that Martin tries to give people from a variety of backgrounds a voice in this way.

Martin, great hearing you Chair the Clubhouse audio chat sessions, especially the one with the BBC’s Rory Cellan-Jones. I think you have a model others could emulate. Professional broadcasting brought with humility in a relaxed way to make the audience want to engage. Thank you as always for the learning. I look forward to your next one. Kevin

I started the Top Ten B2B PR, Content and Business Development agency Propeller Group. I was Chairman until Feb. 2023, when I exited via an MBO funded by Triple Point Ventures. https://lnkd.in/er_2NFkx Propeller Group helps build reputation and growth for companies in media, marketing, e-commerce and related tech. Having built the business up from scratch into a well-known force, I'm pleased to hand it over to my trusted management colleagues to take the business onwards. After a month or two break, I intend to work on projects I enjoy and where I can add value to agency, tech and SME bosses and boards as a communications strategist, creative ideas man and encouraging NED voice. There is more to come... I also run the Dog 'n' Bone podcast where business people chew over things that matter - https://itunes.apple.com/gb/podcast/dog-n-bone/id1341278665?mt=2 Outside of work I was the Chairman of the Campaign for Equal Civil Partnerships which has secured a law change that allows heterosexual couples to have a civil partnership as an alternative to marriage.
