Working as a Marketing Intern at Mediterranean Bio Company has strongly helped me in growing both personally and as a worker. I have mostly focused on two projects: product development and sales. During the first two months of the internship me collaborating together with the owner of the brand have worked on developing a new customised bottle for the brand "Swicily". I have made a full use of programs like Excell, Google Doc, and Monday. I used Excell and Google Doc mostly to keep track, organise and compare the different suppliers I spoke with. While, Monday was very useful to keep my boss always update on the state of my project. During this part of the internship, I understood what my boss was looking for and what was better for the brand and consequently, searched for and spoke with many suppliers and found the one who better fit for our necessities. I made some market researches ,also, to check what our target market was expecting from us and what they would have enjoyed the most. During the second part of the internship, I moved on the sales in Italy. I made plenty of researches to categorize what kind of shop would have fit our brand identity and scope. After, collaborating with a colleague, we used Canva to develop a graphic design tailored for the brand to fill in with the brand information. Consequent, I got in contact with the different shops and retailers I had previously found and explained them our brand aim and made them interested in it and willing to sell our products.

Working as a marketing and sales assistant for this business has allowed me to have a perspective on the marketing work environment. I have co-operated with my team to promote this small business at a regional/national level through several means. Starting from social media, going through the local journal and ending up organising events where people could experience in first person the services and products offered by the school. I put much effort in promoting this place and I was able to collaborate with an established U.S. Food Blogger who filmed a short video for a famous Food Instagram page about the experience offered by the business.
