I wanted to try meditation for the benefits that I heard it *could* provide, but that clearly I was not getting through "conventional" means. I tried various DIY meditation apps, but to no avail, since they could not offer the feedback and guidance that I needed to succeed in the effort. Among Martin's great values in this regard is his ability to understand my specific situation and needs, and his fine-tuned guidance that enabled me to appropriately modify my approach, as I began my (what I expect to be) long-term meditation experience. What particularly struck me was Martin's stated goal - and demonstrated commitment - to get me to the point at which I can continue meditation *unguided* ! Due to my direct experience with my unguided sessions between the ones guided by Martin, I believe that I can succeed in this pursuit going forward - unguided. I cannot imagine that I would have achieved this capability without his guidance.
