      Development of connection between Rhinoceros (geometry modelling) and ANSYS APDL to exchange the geometry, attributes like plate thickness, material quality and identification.Development of connection between NAPA (stability) and ANSYS APDL to create a balanced loading condition from the weight distribution (built up from mass elements) and the buoyancy distribution.Development of method to analyse double curved panels with respect to stability. High loaded curved plates are isolated from the global structure and calculated geometrically nonlinear, including imperfection (GNIA). From the GNIA the unity check and the buckling sensitivity are calculated. Together with the reduction factors obtained from the global analysis the strength and stability of the curved plates is proven. This method is also valid for complex loaded structural parts.
