To say that the working environment in Recruitment, Training and Administration at ORTA was fast paced, frenetic, frequently changing, and highly stressful would be a significant understatement. I could not have imagined another Manager who could have led us through the frequent setbacks and pitfalls, and out the other side the way that Martin did. No doubt his military training as an Officer in the British army played no small part in his success as our manager, together with his military service in Northern Ireland, the Falkland Islands, and in the first Gulf War. A born leader, Martin is decisive, intelligent, strategic, quick witted, and he has a sardonic sense of humour and a calm, understated nature. I don't know how or where he managed to accumulate it, but Martin also had an impressive body of business and commercial acumen. Martin was quite simply an inspirational manager, and a pleasure to work with. I would recommend him highly.
