Creating 2D and 3D layout and manufacturing drawings for bespoke plant equipment, mainly for the general finishing and automotive industry. These include spray booths, curing ovens, clean rooms, etc. Using SolidWorks Flow Simulation to design suitable ductwork for areas around the plant, and SolidWorks Simulation for any platforms or structures that may be required. Source manufacturers and suppliers local to customer and help with project management on-site with redesigns and as-built drawings. Also included using SolidWorks Simulation on parts to ensure suitability. Programmed new parts for manufacture using RADAN CAD/CAM for turret punches and laser cutting machine. First line technical interface with customers to discuss conversion requirements, followed by initial quotation, then project management throughout the shop floor to ensure specification was met. Designed new products and updated existing solutions in conjunction with customers to improve current solutions.
