Key Responsibilities • Working with key stakeholder to define the business case and requirements for the Security, Contact Centre, LAN support, WAN carrier and Mobile services. • Reporting to senior business figures in a matrix management environment. • Leading a team of 15 internal subject matter experts and Supply Chain resource. • Engaged and managed an external consultancy that was utilized to identify and drive out the business benefits. • Leading multi-vendor regulated procurement for 22 external vendors including the management of the engagement process, including presentations and negotiations. • Managed the production of all procurement documentation, and review/selection of the Vendors to provide the services • Financial management including budgeting, forecasting and obtaining funding from sponsors. • Delivered high level project reports to stakeholders, working group and Executive Committee. • Managed the transition of the Vendors to the new contract under the ITIL framework. Key Responsibilities • Build and implementation of 80 Servers (Windows/Linux) deployed in a high availability configuration across data centres, rollout of 1650 handset to support 10 Avaya SIP contact centres and DR sites. • The Programme resulted in multiple business changes, requiring excellent communications, stakeholder management and the organising of training for 1500 staff. Due to the complex implementation, a phased deployment was scheduled to minimise the impact to the business. • There were significant technical challenges to the delivery which required close liaison with the manufacturer, Avaya, the delivery team and Senior Management within United Utilities. The programme included the management of the technical implementation team, KCOM, supported by multiple United Utilities SMEs, business change and the training team. Key Achievement • At the time of implementation this was the largest SIP contact centre delivered in Europe. There were significant improvements to the operational capabilities of the Contact Centre, Work force Optimization and Dialler capabilities.
