I have known Martin now for around 18 months and in this time we have built up a lot of mutual respect. Although he is still relatively new to the AI industry, he has quickly built up a sound working knowledge of both product and the industry in general. Martin, as a product manager, is totally committed to providing an excellent portfolio of architectural hardware for his company. One of the things I have been impressed with is Martin's appreciation of the importance of the current product standards and the need for him to have a 'duty of care' with the hardware he selects for his company to sell. I think he is an asset to his company and I would have no hesitation in recommending him as a business partner.

I started my career as an inventory controller and I was responsible for the purchase and stock control of certain supplier products. I was also involved with sourcing new products to increase the product portfolio in line with company objectives. I negotiated cost prices and rebates. I was then promoted to the position of inventory team leader, reporting to the inventory manager and was responsible for a team of 8 inventory planners to ensure that the department KPI’s were met, resolving any departmental disputes, leading team meetings, ensuring new team members were coached and trained in order for them to confidently carry out their duties. My last position was Product Manager for the lighting departing reporting the Lighting Director. My main duties included ensuring that our branch network of 96 branches carried the correct stock to service the customers, the removal of slow and non selling lines, the introduction of new lines to appeal to the required customer base. I was also tasked with ensuring that the prices were competitive to the local market and to actively orchestrate pricing promotions
